If and to the extent any state does not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability, in such state, shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.

Access to Material and Certification

We reserve the right to remove a student from — or not add a student to — the database, our online courses, our community forum (The Dojo), our Facebook groups, or any other associated platforms, at our discretion and without explanation.

We reserve the right to withhold or revoke certification, without monetary compensation, in any of the following circumstances:

– the student has not completed the required course material;
– the student has not demonstrated active engagement with the course, including (where applicable) attendance at live sessions, participation in the community forum, and engagement with the teacher;
– the student has acted inappropriately or disrespectfully to the teacher or other stdeunts during the course, in our forums, in our Facebook groups, or in a professional capacity;
– the student has used AI-generated content as a substitute for personal reflections or written work required by the course;
– the student has otherwise failed to meet the commitments agreed (where applicable) at application stage.

Certification reflects demonstrated engagement with a course, not solely access to its materials. Lifetime access to course content and community spaces is conditional on ongoing respectful engagement and may be revoked at our discretion.

Community Engagement and AI Use

Our Shinpiden+ forum (The Dojo), online course forums, Facebook groups, and live sessions are spaces for personal reflection and genuine connection between students and teacher. We value students’ authentic voices no matter how imperfect, personal, and real, and these are the foundation of the community.

Written reflections submitted as part of a course, and posts in our forums or community groups, should be in the student’s own words. Where AI tools have been used to assist with composition, this should be noted clearly at the top of the post. Content that appears to be primarily AI-generated may not count toward course engagement requirements and may not receive responses from the teacher.

We reserve the right to remove students from our community spaces and to terminate enrollment for breaches of these standards, disrespectful conduct, or sustained non-engagement. No reason needs to be given.

Course Refunds

We currently have a strict no refund policy. Once a student has accessed any online course content, no refund is available, as agreed at application stage.

If any of the classes are cancelled they will be moved to a new date, which means the money paid for the course will also be moved to the new date.

We do not accept responsibility for changes in students’ personal circumstances and reserve the right to alter/cancel any of the available courses. If there is reasonable cause, students may move their courses forward to a new date after booking and paying for a course. Reiki with Bronwen must be notified of this 24 hours prior to a course or the student’s course payment will be forfeited.

Once a student has accessed any online course content, no refund is available, as agreed at application stage. Refunds for any course including Online Courses are not available. In the event that enrolment is terminated by us for breaches of our Terms & Conditions, no refund will be issued.

Spam

We ensure that all Online Courses have been developed within the guidelines set by Spam Assassin TM and is therefore not responsible for the rejection of any emails by individual ISPs or host servers. The user is, however, welcome to contact us to attempt to resolve any issues with email rejection.
