Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen explores the concept of interconnection and compassion, personified by the deity Kannon, who listens to the sounds of the world.
How to Join in Chanting To chant from the hara (腹 – belly), focus your attention on the area about two inches below your navel. Breathe deeply into your hara, allowing your abdomen to expand. As you exhale, chant “Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen” while maintaining awareness of your hara.
