In just 90 minutes you will understand what meditation actually is, why it works, and you will have already done it — three times. This is a practical, grounded, and surprisingly simple introduction to a practice that can change the quality of your daily life.
What This Class Is
Meditate NOW is a live online webclass delivered via Zoom. It is designed for anyone who wants to start meditating, restart after a lapse, or finally understand what they have been doing when they sit down to practise.
There is no prior experience required. You do not need to be calm, spiritual, flexible, or free of thoughts. You need 90 minutes and the willingness to begin.
What We Cover
Why meditation works We begin with the honest case for sitting still — including what current research shows about meditation’s effects on the brain, the nervous system, sleep, emotional resilience, and physical health. This section gives you the foundation to choose meditation rather than just try it.
What meditation actually is Most people who struggle with meditation are working against a misunderstanding. We clear that up early. You will learn the one thing most people get wrong, and you will understand a simple two-category map that covers every style of meditation you will ever encounter.
Four keys to a sustainable practice There are four things that make a practice reliable and lasting. We cover all of them. Most people know none of them.
Create your own preparation ritual With guidance from Bronwen, you will build a simple, personal ritual that signals to your body and mind that it is time to meditate. You leave with something that is entirely your own.
Three meditations — practised together We practise all three during the class. Each one is complete in itself, and each serves a different need.
- The Guided Meditation (Convergent, Guided) — Awakening your Inner Wisdom. Your daily practice.
- The Breath Anchor (Convergent, Non-Guided) — Coming Home. Works anywhere, any time.
- Sky Mind (Divergent, Open Awareness) — You are the Universe. An advanced practice of spacious, open awareness.
Live Q&A The final section is open conversation. Bring your questions, your doubts, and anything that has stopped you before. No question is too simple.

About Bronwen Logan
Bronwen has been teaching meditation and the system of Reiki since 1999. She is the co-author of multiple books including The Reiki Sourcebook and The Japanese Art of Reiki.
She teaches from her retreat in the Blue Mountains outside Sydney, Australia, and online, coaching students around the globe individually, in groups, and through her signature Reiki training, Shinpiden+.
